The Commodore 64 was one of the most popular systems of the 1980s. The C64 has been famously-called "the computer for the people" because it was user-friendly, cost less than $300, and contained a rich library of games and software. However, as technology has changed and Commodore's relevance faded, their C64 models became more and more rare: they're ultra-expensive now on eBay or secondhand. This is why some people have resorted to using their own computers at home just to play those old classics that we all missed so dearly on our consoles as kids. But if you're not so good at programming, you may feel intimidated by the complicated instructions of your computer's BIOS (Basic Input/Output System). So what is the solution? There is no download link for "C64 ROM Loader". You can buy a new game cartridge or game box, but that's plain expensive. However, if you want the classic C64 look without spending $500 on a computer model, just download "C64 X1.exe". The program will scan your computer and find any compatible (whether it be IBM-PC/AT or Amiga) of Commodore 64 with BIOS ROM (Read Only Memory) images of necessary games. For the very first time, you will have a true working Commodore 64 on your PC. This program is compatible with any Windows system with a minimum of 256 Mb RAM and 500 Mb free space. In the installation process, the program creates a special menu with all necessary ROMs available to play with. Games can be played from this menu by simply pressing the "Enter" button from your keyboard. You can also configure its look by playing around with its basic settings from inside the configuration menu. This software makes it easier for you to bring up all your favorite C64 games for free! - Warning : Do not install anything inside this folder . It may damage/destroy software installed . - All files and folders placed in this folder - It is strongly advised to create a new folder. Say yes, then it will ask if you want the program to auto-extract your ROM file.
